Is it possible to customize template options (under 'tools') to point to different locations for different users?
We have some engineers who would like to make personalized changes on some .OGS files and not screw up the work that others are doing.

Thanks,
I think I found the problem: he was using the program file on the network instead of the local copy that point to the network.

Dear BConnor,

Every Origin client installation is able to specify its own template file location simply by modifying the Template entry on the File Location tab of the Tools:Options dialog box.

Also, if a user copies a *.OGS file from the Origin server to their Origin client installation and then modifies the *.OGS in the client folder the client version of Origin will use the *.OGS file located in that client's local folder. This will not effect other client installations of Origin or the Origin server. This feature allows interested engineers to copy and modify *.OGS files on their local client without messing up what other people are doing.

Sincerely,

Gary Lane
