Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): Origin 8.1
Operating System: Windows XP Prof.

Hello everybody,

I'm a newbie in using OriginLab and now I want to use the equations that are possible when using Excel. I want to implement the following analysis equation under OriginLab and did not know how to do it and if it is possible.

=IF(OR(B2>MAX(B:B)*0.987;C1=1);IF(B2<1.95;0;1);0)

I hope you could help me.

Regards,
Lars

What I want to do with this equation is to chance a data source into an binary format. That means if the data is higher then a given point (here 1.7 A) put a 1 in the row next to data, if not put a 0 in the row. So that I have two rows - one with the original data and one with the binary code.

How is this possible under Origin?
