Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System: Windows 7

I want to make a diagram with two layers. Each layer should show a colour diagram from XYY data. I created the first diagram with no problem. Then I added a new layer and tried to add a diagram using the diagram setup option. Though I choose the colour diagram option and checked the boxes for my X-, Y- and C-values, on clicking on "OK" I got a simple XY diagram with no colours.

Does somebody now how to have to colour diagrams in one graphic?

Thank you for your help!

Hi greg! Thank you for your answer. I found a solution to my problem: I didn't highlight the second layer when I wanted to add the data. I guess it wasn't working because I was trying to add two colour diagrams with different "C" data in the same layer. Thanks for you help!

There are so many variants in the detailed steps in what you are doing that it is near impossible to determine why it's not working in your case.

You should send your project and a detailed list of the steps you take to origin@additive-net.de to find out where the steps go wrong.

Since you have it working in one case, then the quickest solution may be to:
Plot the second diagram as a new plot, then choose Graph : Merge Graph Windows to bring the two graphs together into one garph.
