Hello, I have inserted a formula in an Origin Plot which has been created with the Microsoft formula editor. Does anybody know if its possible to rotate it by 90°?

Posted - 05/04/2019 : 9:17:42 PM Latex doesn't work for me. Please add the function of rotating a mathtype object. Or even better, to be able to add it as axis title. You can see a lot of people need it. |

Hello, The problem is still there. The math type equations inserted by equation editor of origin cannot be rotated. I am trying to insert an equation as the label of Y-axis which should be rotated by 90 degrees. how can I do it? using OriginPro 2016 (64-bit) b9.3.226. Regards, Amin
Hi,
I am sorry that Origin doesn’t support this so far, but you could try LaTex App: https://www.originlab.com/fileExchange/details.aspx?fid=221

Posted - 07/18/2012 : 10:32:28 AM Good afternoon,
I wonder if there is any way to eliminate that limitation? I am trying to use complicated equation as label of Y axis and tehrefore prefer to have it rotated. I am using Origin 8.6 SR3
Is there any other way to insert equation than OLE object from Microsoft Equiation editor? |

We are sorry, but the rotation of the OLE-embedded object is not supported. Anyway, thank you very much for the question.
