Hi, all,

I got a problem with matrix normalization by using OriginPro.8.6. I used the script in the command window like:

"range rm=<active>;
sum(rm);
rm -= sum.min;
rm /= (sum.max - sum.min);"

But nothing happened. My matrix stayed the same. Could you please help me with this problem? I tried the command window, it works, but I don't know why it doesn't work for my script.

Many thanks.

<active> cannot be used in this contax, or we should add such support. Currently <active> can only be used in X-Function.

You can use %C to indicate the active matrix, so

range rm=%C;
sum(rm);
rm -= sum.min;
rm /= (sum.max - sum.min);
