Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): Origin 6.0 (but the problem also occured with 7.5]
Operating System: WIndows XP

Since I had to completely re-install my XP after a serious error, I am unable to open existing Origin files. Neither double-clicking from any file manager, nor opening directly from the program works. I always gives an error message like "project folder\subfolder\xyz.opj can not be found... check for the path and filename". Origin only runs with an empty untitled project, but new projects can neither be saved nor backuped.
I tried to remove older installations of Origin and install either the version 6.0 or 7.5 anew, yet it did not help. I suspect the bug is rather in some settings of my operating system (I did not succeed in importing my old settings on re-instalation) but I can not identify it. Please help.
