Hi andrewmb,
The line type of Origin vector chart (even in the later versions after yours) cannot be changed from solid line to other like dot-dot or dash, etc., though you can change the color, or width.
But, even if it is possible, if I were, I would be a bit nervous to change it because the vector's size might become inaccurate by the gap between dots/dashes.
