Hi all! I've an apparent problem with curve fitting in Origin. After launching "Fit multiple peaks", I obtain the datasheet of FittedCurves. Now, why the "Sum Y" coloumn isn't equal to the sum of Peak1(Y) and Peak2(Y) and Peak3(Y)? How i can obtain this SumY?

.

Thanks in advanced

Hi OriginALL,

The each peak fit curve, and their sum contain the bias (i.e. offset) term, which must be reported as "y0" in the fit report. So, Once y0 are subtracted from them, summation should match.

P.S. Your y0 should be around -0.16339 .
