Hi There!
Hope that you're doing great. Well, has anybody an idea to construct user defined 3D NL surface fitting function by function builder tool in Origin8 or higher. My level is quite basic. So, step by step tutorial is expected to be helpful.

Grateful in advance
Salutations,
Azeem

Hi Azeem,

There is a tutorial for defining a fit function with multiple independent variables here (or the corresponding topic from "Help: Tutorials" menu):

P.S., Sorry, but I found that the above tutorial uses the Fitting Function Organizer, instead of Fitting Function Builder; However, essentially both work equally. In the Builder, you can simply put x,y as independent variables, and z as dependent variable.
