Origin Ver. 8.6 and Service Release 3 (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System: Windows 7

I was wondering if it is currently possible to take data from an opened worksheet and drag and drop (D/D) it into an opened graph, causing the D/D data to be plotted on the graph?

For instance if you have a worksheet with Time, ForceA, and ForceB opened, and a ForceA vs Time graph is opened. Is it possible to make it so that you can click on the column ForceB and D/D it into the opened graph and have it plot ForceA and ForceB vs Time.

I know Origin currently has it so you can Layer Contents to add new data, but a D/D method is more intuitive.

Hi,

Drag-and-drop plotting has been supported in past many versions of Origin, see this documentation page:
