Posted - 06/01/2012 : 05:43:24 AM Is there some way to change all the lines on the page (plot lines, arrows, axes) from one point size to another with a global command? Is it also possible to change all the fonts (legends, textboxes, axes titles) to the same type and size in one operation? It is tedious in the extreme to go through and change each one. I have tried using the select tool to grab everything on the page to change fonts with very uneven results. The sizes of different fonts do not turn out the same even if they individually read as the some font size. Axes titles appear particularly perverse as they retain some underlying formatting that can arbitrarily make them appear larger or smaller than their stated font size. There doesnīt appear to be anyway to grab everything on the page and change the line properties, but maybe itīs hidden somewhere? Please donīt tell me I need to write a script, I find them extremely clumsy. |

Posted - 06/01/2012 : 3:40:32 PM Hi mmsall,
My colleague has suggested the following. Please try:
1> Click on one obect such as line or text, right click and select Copy Format, and in the sub menu select All or select Font etc
2> Click outside layer, then right click and select Paste Format.... This will then change all similar elements on page to have the same properties.
As for font size, there is the scale factor control in Plot Deatils dialog. The following movie ("Correcting Font Size in Multilayer Graphs") may be helpful: http://www.originlab.com/index.aspx?go=Support/VideoTutorials&pid=1887
