Hey,
I am trying to figure out how to create a shape in 3D space that is anchored by datapoints that will then shift along with those datapoints as I shift the axes.
I have been attempting to do this using the polyline feature and playing with the various anchoring options, but so far I have failed. I would ideally like to be able to create a tetrahedron between 4 or 5 points that will encapsulate all of my data points, so that I can begin to identify sources along the various axes. It would be really helpful to be able to rotate the plot and have the figure rotate along with the data points.
I would appreciate any ideas or help to get me to where I would like to be.

Graphic Objects - such as Text, Lines, Rectangles, etc. - are not positioned in 3D space and will not move with changes in 3D even when objects are set as attached to Layer or Layer and Scales.

you can plot to show how all data does move in 3D.
Select C(Z1) and plot as 3D XYZ Trajectory. Then add the F(Z2) column via Layer Contents and use the rotation tools to see how both datasets move in the 3D Layer. |
