Origin Ver. 8.6 and Service Release 3 (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System: Win 7
After using the "Reader" tool, to select a data point an then using the "Zoom Out" tool I see the message "Device context error. May be out of system resource." Does anyone know what causes this error and what it means? |

This is an innocuous error caused by changes in button handling to support new keyboard zoom and pan features (check it out : http://www.originlab.com/Index.aspx?go=Support/VideoTutorials&pid=1810). It occurs when you switch tools without pressing Esc key or clicking the Pointer tool first.
You can either ignore it, or remember to use Esc or Pointer tool. |
