Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 8.6 SR3
Operating System: Win7 x64

I'm recently doing a lot image processing with Origin Pro. However, Origin runs rather slow on a PC with an I7 processor (shows 8 CPUs in the task mannager), the reason is that the usage of CPU by Origin is only ~12%, which corresponds to ~100% usage of one CPU.On the contrary, it runs much faster on another PC with two CPUs, as the CPU usage is about 50%.

I just wonder if Origin could be set to use more CPUs for data processing.

Best regards,

Redman

I have the same issue with an i5. Origin only uses 25% and is really slow.

Is it possible to run origin on all 4 CPUs?
