Posted - 06/24/2012 : 8:09:49 PM Hey, I m trying to plot a dataset where the graph has a definition gap. Therefore in my datasheet there are no values for the gap. In addition I have an errorvalue for my data. When I plot my data with the gap, Origin works fine with the actual graph but as soon as choose to connect for my errorbars to get a filled errorbar setup the gap gets filled up, too. How can I avoid that? http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=riwyza&s=6 Thank you for your help

Posted - 06/25/2012 : 05:55:36 AM Thank you, creating the Error Bars with Fill Area is not the problem. The problem is that Origin creates continues the Fill Area even thou there are no values. I guess its because I choose Connect Straight, but with the main graph it works fine as you see in my attachment. So my question is how I can stop origin to continue drawing the Fill Area where there are no values.
