Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 8.0 SR0
Operating System: Windows 7

Hello

I am having problems exporting to TIFF format. I can export plots to PDF,png.jpeg etc. but nothing will export to TIF. Is there a SR available for this?

Will

Hi Will,

I suspect that some part of your Origin software got corrupted because I see no problem to export TIFF files from my Origin 8.0 SR6.
First can you try to reset your User Files Folder(UFF) by the following steps?

1) In the Script window or command window, enter the following command:

  delete -path
The new UFF will be set in the next Origin session. Click Yes.
2) Restart Origin, and enter a new location of USS, different from the previous. See if you still have the same problem.

If the above procedure didn't solve, please try to uninstall-and-reinstall your Origin software. I suggest you to reinstall the software to the new location to make sure that the old files wouldn't be mixed up to the new files; as well as the new location of the UFF.

I hope the either way solves your problem. Anyway, I suggest you that you upgrade the service release 0(SR0) of your Origin to the latest SR6 to get various fixes and improvements.
