Am using OriginPro and trying to fit my curve, via Analysis-Peak and Baseline-Peak Analyzer etc...when I successfully go through the process and hit "fit until converge" then I keep getting this message: "fit did not converge, maximum iteration setting of 500 was reached". The 500 was what I selected, I selected 200 at first, I got a similar problem so I decided to select 500, which is the maximum iteration value on the draw down menu. Please what do I do next to converge this fitting?

Thanks,

Konig1

Hi,

It's possible the initial values do not fit with the data.
Good parameter initialization would help convergence.

You'd better send your project file to us, and tell us the detail of your steps setting in the Peak Analyzer dialog, including fitting function, initial parameters and so on. We can try it.

To send us files, click Send File to Tech support button at the top right of the forum.

Thanks.

Jacqueline
