Does anyone know how to do a helical fitting of data in origin pro, or is there any other software that can do a helical fitting?

Maybe it can be done in Origin9.0, which will be released this fall. Origin9.0 supports ODR algorithm and implicit fitting.

Can you show us an example for the helix including the function and fitting data? We can try it in 9.0.
