How i can write a user defined function for the Brillouin Function

Function:

M=NgJB[(2J+1/2J)coth((2J+1)s/2J)-(1/2J)coth(s/2J)]

where, J - Angular Momentum Number
g - Lande g-factor, Value 1 or 2
B - Bohr Magneton (9.274X10^-24 J/T)
N - Number of spins
K - Boltzmann Constant (1.381X10^-23 J/K)

s=gJBH/KT

Hi,

I'm not sure if I understood correctly, but I assume that you want to create a function of the Brillouin Function for curve fitting, you may refer to the following tutorial showing how to create a user defined fitting function:

http://www.originlab.com/www/helponline/Origin/en/UserGuide/A_Simple_Example_to_Show_You_How_to_Create_A_New_Fitting_Function_with_The_Fitting_Function_Builder.html

Hope this information helps!
