Hi, I have the following graph. It has duplicate x-axis scale values. Can I merge them into one centralize them so that the two box charts can be regarded into one group of say 12 or 24. Thanks in advance.

Hi Sagar,

Though not straightforward, you may try the following way using the tick labels from a column:

1) Add an extra column for tick labels (column A in the sample below),
and enter single group names at the first entry within each group.

2) In the Axis dialog for X axis, in "Tick Labels" tab, set the tick label column for the "Text from dataset".

3) In the "Custom Tick Labels" tab, enter appropriate horizontal offset value to move the label to the center of the group.

I hope this works.

Hi Hideo Fujii,
Thanks for your reply. If I use merge graph windows, it actually overlap the box charts. I dont want that. I just want to remove the duplicate labeling in the axis. It shows two 12s, two 24s.......
Instead of that I just want one 12 for these two groups. Thanks.
Sagar

Hi Sagar Chowdhury,

I think you first need to create two individual graphs for each group; then you can merge graph windows to make a 2-layer graph in 1x1 arrangement.
