When editing large *.ogs-files itīs getting inconvenient to use the script window or the windows notepad, esp. if you work with tabs in loops and multiple if-conditions. Has somebody a proposal which editor is the best for Labtalk? Does somebody use the MSVC++ Editor, what are the experiences and how can one activate the color settings, e.g. green for comments (marked by //) when editing *.ogs-files? Has somebody yet worked on a on-line syntax-check as it is common for VC++ and VB-Editors?
Thanks for any comment in advance!

I like WinEdt, but it is shareware. You can see and download it at www.winedt.com. There you can read

WinEdt (shareware) is a powerful, extremely flexible and versatile native editor and shell for MS Windows with a strong predisposition towards the creation of [La]TeX documents (and much more!)...

but it has useful customizable highlights and looks for unmatched brackets and so on.

Jose.

We're hoping to provide such a solution in Origin 6.1 - which should be available later this summer.
