It is claimed that Origin 5 is supported on NT4 but
getfile -m *.*
crashes the program on our NT4 machine even though the script will work fine on a Win95 machine.

Tested with clean installations of NT4 on Compaq machines.

I originally posted directly to Technical Services to 'address problems more effectively' but there was no reply hence now posting to this forum.

I don't have the same version, but that command works fine on Origin6 with the current service release on NT4.

Costs a significant sum to upgrade, but in my view Labtalk is a quite immature language and it's definitely worth having the most recent release, if only for the bugfixes!
