I am trying to plot a graph with a single y column and multiple x columns. Is it possible to do this? Every time I try, I get the error message "Your column selection must include those with plot designations." Any advice?

Thanks!

I think the easier way is to denote all X columns as "Y" and the "Y" column as X. Then to plot all Ys against X and check "Graph/exchange X-Y axis"

The following is an approach by using layers, but there may be a better way...

1) Create each graph, ie., X1/Y, X2/Y,...
2) Select Edit:Merge All Graph Windows, and set the rows and columns to 1. All frames are overlapped completyely.
3) Select one of layer icon in the graph, double-click the X axis, then at the Title&Format tab, set the Axis Position to "% from Bottom" to, say 5. Also, hide the Y axis and the ticks.
4) Repeat 3 for other axes by changing the X-axis position.

By this way, you don't have to figure out the scale range of each axis.

Good luck!
