I am trying to export graphs to PNG files using a script in Origin 6.0 Pro SR4. I then create an HTML file with these PNG files to display the graphs. The problem is the graphs look really bad!! (Parts of the frame, text borders, and lines are missing. The colours are different.) I've tried many permutations of the PNG options, but have not hit on a good one. Is there a problem with the image converter? I know it creates a BMP first, then converts to PNG. Is the problem problem with the initial BMP? I've looked at the Origintemp.BMP and it seems fine.

My best results have come with exporting BMP with Screen Resolution and Screen Size, then using other software to convert these to PNG. But this step is highly undesireable! It uses up huge amounts of space and takes more steps. Why the big difference when I use other software?

I checked out the Knowledge Base on how to set the resolution through a script, but I still get dialogs that pop-up. Is it possible to get rid of these?

So it boils down to:

A) How can I improve things to get decent PNG exports?

B) Is it possible to write a script so that all the necessary options are selected and no dialogs appear?

Please help.
