Hi,

I have a problem saving Origin files in a directory which is located on a HP workstation and linked to the NT-computer via samba: sometimes Origin incorrectly thinks that the directory is full and rejects to save the project. Has anyone had a similar problem and knows a solution?
NT-Version: 4.0
samba: 2.0.7
Origin: 6.0
Best regards

Ralph

I had no problems using an NT 4 SP6 machine saving to a Linux machine running samba. I also have no problems using one of our Win98 machines.

We do have a machine with Win95 and Win98 (dual boot) and it fails to save projects and export graphs to the samba drive, but it can save graph windows and the script window. The same machine running Word 97 wrote a doc file, but it contained a block of garbage before and after the original text when reloaded. I have not been able to determine why this machine has problems while two others do not.

If I find out anything more I will post it here. Also I used Origin 6.0SR4 and 6.1.
