I am a Origin 6.0 (now 6.1) user. I have create lots of graphics using Origin. The only thing that i still do not know how to do is the following.
I create a graphic including lots of plots in the same layer and put a text for each plot to do not confuse them. When i resize axes, graphic automatically resize itself but texts are in the same place! I would like the texts to change their positions with respect to plots. I mean, if the text are at the end of the plot (or top of the line) before resizing, they must be again at the end of the plot after resizing. Is there an option to group plot (or line) and text? Or, is it possible to stick (or attach) text and plot to each other?

You can accomplish this by attaching these text objects to the 'Layer and Scales', instead of the 'Layer Frame' (which is the default setting). This setting is in the Label Control dialog box of each object. To open the dialog box, press the ALT key down as you double-click on the object. Alternatively, select the object and then select Format:Label Control.
Once you have the Label Control dialog box open, select the 'Layer and Scales' radio button in the Attach To group and click OK. Now when you change the axis scale range, the label should move with the data. |
