Hi,

For severla data sets I need to select individual rows (not columns!) to perform statistics (e.g., select rows 5-7, 9-10 and 15 and calculate the mean values of the individual column entries.
Can that be performed somehow?

Hi,

I believe that this is what you want to do:

1) Mask the rows of data that you do not wish to include in your calculations (i.e. 1-4, 8, 11-14, >16).
2) Now, select the columns (data sets) that you want to analyze and choose Analysis: Stats on Columns.
==>Stats will be performed only on the unmasked data in those columns (i.e. values in rows 5-7, 9-10, and 15).
