Dear Sir,
I have a question, but do not konw how to solve.
The quesion is as follows.
The original figure whose X axis range is from 0 to 10.
When I cut out the new X axis range fom 0 to 5, and copy page to
another plotting program "visio 2000". I ungroup the figure
which copies fom origin 6.1, the axis range from 5 to 10 still
remains in the figure. I do not know how to solve. Could you help me?

Dear Ling-Chih Kao:
We looked again at your post and we think that this must be what you are doing:
1. Create an Origin graph with x values in the range of 0 - 10.
2. Double-click on the X axis scale and in the X axis dialog, Scale tab, set the x axis scale From 0 To 5.
==>Graph is redrawn to show only x values from 0 to 5.
3. Select Edit: Copy Page.
4. Open your receiving application and select Edit: Paste Special, Picture.
==> This inserts a non-OLE-editable picture of your Origin graph into your application.
5. Double-click on the Origin graph to ungroup (edit the picture in your application).
==> The graph is ungrouped and the data (but not the axes) are drawn extending beyond the upper limit of 5.
If you look at what is passed to the Windows Clipboard (look at your Clipboard Viewer) you will see only the data in the 0 to 5 range. Therefore, this seems to owe to some limitation of the picture editing capabilities of the Windows operating environment. The data do not display once you have exited the picture edit mode in your receiving application, so perhaps that is good enough.
If you find this distracting, you could
1. Mask the unwanted data in your Origin worksheet.
2. Hide the masked points in your Origin plot (you can choose to hide or show masked points with the "Hide/Show masked points" button on the Mask toolbar).
3. Select Edit: Copy Page.
==> The unwanted points will not show in your receiving application when you ungroup (this worked in MS Word 97, anyway).

It's not clear to me what you mean when you say "I cut out the new X axis range". Do you open the Axis dialog and change the From and To values?
