hi,
i have a x axis where each tick label has a lot of text. so i use labels with multiple lines. the problem is, that the labels with the most lines are centered vertically in the middle but labels with less lines are not. is it possible to change that so that all lables are centered vertically?
also, is there a way to change the horizontal aligment of those labels?
kind regards fed0r |

Posted - 10/08/2012 : 11:07:18 AM hi,
i'm sorry, my explanation wasn't that good and even wrong, i mixed up x and y axis ... let me try again. here's a picture.
as you can see, the singe line text is centered vertically, but the label with two lines is not. is it possible to change that?
my next question: is it possible to align the two lines "test1" and "testttt1" to the left?

Posted - 10/08/2012 : 09:11:25 AM if your x data is multi-line text and you have x axis : [custom tick labels] : "tick to label" set to 'center(default)' then all your tick labels should be center justified.
you can choose 'next to ticks' which makes them left justified.
not knowing what your data looks like, i cannot imagine how your seeing what you describe unless the x data actually has a lot of spaces in some lines - throwing off the centered appearance. |
