I'm quite sure it's an easy question but I just cannot find the answer.

I have a graph that shows an x, x-error, y, y-error now I made a fifth column with labels. All I want is that the legend shows the label names with the used colors in the graph.

How do I do that?

Hi,

I'm not quite sure what you exactly want. Does your fifth column contain label information corresponding to each single data point in your plot, or are they for each data plot(i.e. the y, x-error and y-error plots, respectively)?

In either case, at least you could manually customize the legend, please refer to this page for details on how to manually control the legend.

If you are requiring something different, please send us a sample Origin project with your data and graph to us, and describe what you want to achieve. In case you want to do this, click the Send File to Tech Support button on the upper-right corner of the forum page and follow the instructions there.
