Hi guys,

sorry for my probably silly question... but I don't know how to help myself.

I have 2 books
Book1: in column A alre a lot of values, but it varies how many values are in this column

Book2: I want in column A in the first cell the last value of the book 1, column A
I know how to get the first value or the 10th or whatever... but as I don't know how many values are there, I can not write a specific number, and "end" instead of a number doesn't work.

I hope you can help me. Thank you in advance!

bye

Great!
Thank you...
that was it what I was looking for - I just didn't know how to tell Origin what to do! :)

Hope you have a good day, I have a smile in my face now ;)

Hi,

You could define column A as a range variable, get its size and return to the last value of it. For example you could run the following labtalk script:

range rr=[Book1]Sheet1!col(A);
int index=rr.GetSize();
rr[index]=;//Return the last value in column A
