take logarithm value of 0 should give me nothing while plotting it in log scale. However, origin gives me 1E-3.

Hi,

I can not reproduce your problem on my machine. Would you please use the Data Reader to check whether the Y value of Plots at 1E-3 is 0? If yes, please tell us which version of Origin you are using and send the opj file to tech support so we can investigate.

You could follow this instructions to send your file.

Best Regard,
Jessie
