Hello,
I have a problem with the Origin "Project Explorer" that I hope someone has a solution for:
I like to use Origin on a laptop computer that is used with a docking station and two external screens (while at its desk). If I work somewhere else, I use only the laptop's internal screen.
The problem arises if the project explorer has been put on the secondary screen while docked: Then the position is kept and hence the explorer is placed off the screen if I work just with the laptop's screen. Hence, it is not accessible, and I also did not find a way to move it back onto the screen. I have searched the internet for this topic on a more general basis and found solutions for programs placed off-screen if they show up (somehow) in the taskbar (via the "Move" option of the context menu). The Origin project explorer, however, does not do that, and thus these solutions are not applicable.
Is there any way to get this window (or comparably implemented windows) back within reach if it is off-screen?
If there's no solution to it, I would appreciate if this would be addressed by the developers in one of the next updates (e. g. by checking the screen size when opening a window). I'm (currently) working with Origin 8.6; has this already been improved or changed with version 9?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Best regards Kristian Lass

Not sure if it works, could you please try to do the following?
1) Choose "View: Toolbars" menu 2) Press "Reinitialize" button (in the default "Toolbars" tab).
This operation puts all toolbars and likes to the initial position (If I understand correctly, it does according to the machine you are using.)
Did it work?
