Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 8.6.0. Sr3
Operating System: W7 proffesional
When I import the data the small image thumbnail will be switched on above matrix. I can switch them off using Cntr+shift+N. How to do this using LabTalk

You are right, in Origin 8.6, this command looked like it didnt work, as it didn't refresh the window. If you resize the window a little, you will see it actually worked. This bug was fixed (ORG-7123-P1) in Origin 9, the current version.

Unfortunately matrix -it 0; don't work  , may by bug, because with an active matrix I can swith thumbnails on with either
matrix -it; or matrix -it 1;

matrix -it 0;
or if it is not the active window, then
win -o mWinName {matrix -it 0}
