In matrix mode I import a picture, switch matrix into data mode, then I make a contour color-fill plot, Itīs working perfectly. But when I save it as origin project (.opj) and open it again, thereīs empty graph. Refreshing is not woriking. I donīt know what to do, how to keep plot saved after closing application. Help me, please!

Posted - 02/04/2013 : 2:48:03 PM Hello,
After Importing image and choose Contour- Color-fill, there is a Reminder Message.
"This operation requires the image to be converted to gray scale. If the image is more than 8-bit per color, do you want to convert to 16-bit grayscale?
You must have chosen Yes.
Please choose No and then save the opj.
Then the next time you open the opj, the contour will still be there.
This seems a limitation in 8.0. Since we tried in later versions, even if we choose convert to 16 bit grayscale, it can still show the contour-colorfill in saved opj.
Thanks, Snow |

Posted - 02/04/2013 : 2:37:09 PM Hi zrzak1,
I have tried the procedure in my Origin 8.1 and 8.6; I couldn't reproduce the problem in either case. If your Origin8 is not the latest service release (you can check by "Help: About Origin" menu), which is SR6, I suggest you to upgrade. http://www.originlab.com/index.aspx?go=SUPPORT/ServiceReleases
If you have the same problem, I suggest you to send your Origin file (I suppose still you can see the matrix filled with your image data) to us by clicking the "Send File to Tech support" link at the top right corner of this page.
