Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 9.0.0 (32-bit) SR1
Operating System: Windows 8 Pro (32-bit)
Each time I restart Origin, the width of the columns in the Project Explorer are reset to a (default?) value. When I change the width, so I can actually see the contents, it reverts back to the original width after I restart Origin. So now I have to change the column width every time I start Origin. I have included a screenshot below where you can see the column width that is too small. Every time I start Origin, it's like this.

A little update: Also when I dock the PE to the top, the problems occurs. So hopefully that can also be fixed in a new version. |

Hi Snow, thanks for your reply. I have my PE window indeed docked to the bottom side. I will use one of your suggestions in the meantime. Thanks again. |

Hello,
Is your Project Explorer(PE) window docked to the bottom side of Origin workspace?
I can reproduce it when it's docked to the bottom. It works fine if PE is docked to left side. It's a bug and I put it to jira ORG-4335 for future fix. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I tried that if the PE is floating, then the column width can be remembered. Also when it's docked to bottom, but you checked Auto-Hide, (the pin button before X button), the column width can be remembered.
For now, if you like PE to be at bottom and don't want it to auto-hide, maybe you can let it float and resize it to be very wide and put it close to the bottom?
