Posted - 04/18/2002 : 09:27:09 AM I have upgraded from 6.0 to 7.0. Pre-existing graphs with logarithmic scales do not show the ticks and labels correctly. Any suggestions? |

Posted - 04/18/2002 : 10:49:43 AM Origin 7 logarithmic control differs from previous versions in that if the log scale range is within one decade, the ticks and grids will be linear.
There is a LabTalk system variable, @TL that you can use to control this behavior. By default it is set to 10, but you can set this to 0 to revert back to the way that 6.1 handled the increment on a log scale.
Open macros.cnf, found in the Origin folder, in any text editor. Add the following line to the end of the file:
@TL=0;
Resave the file. This setting will now be remembered every time you run Origin.
