Hi,

I am using Origin 8.1.I want to crop an image, but I have only option available for "rectangle". Can someone please suggest how to get other shapes like "polygon" or "circle" in tools. Thanks in advance.

Hi nazir,

Our developers/designers would like to hear further from you how this polygon/circle-cropping is useful in your work. Which kind of post-processing is considered for the further analysis? In short, what is your "user-story"?

Thank you for your further assistance.

Hi nazir,

Unfortunately, there is currently no such cropping feature with a boundary of a circle, polygon, etc. except of a rectangle. I will suggest our developers to implement in a future release. We're sorry for the inconvenience with this limitation.
