The Importassiestent not boot. Why is that? Is it not possible to set the program aud factory settings?

Hi 01amk,

There are variety of possible reasons. I don't even know: exact meaning/procedure/symptom of what you said "not boot", how the problem started occurring, which version of Origin and the operating system, etc. So, it is hard to tell you the reason.

I suggest you first to "Repair" the installation (by running the Setup program of Origin), and if it didn't work, you can try to uninstall then reinstall Origin.
