Hello,
Right now I have a graph with several layers and fitting reports, one report per layer. I would like to work with different layers separately; I know there is an option where I can hide all layers except one, but there is no such option with reports. When I select to show only one layer, all those reports cover the graph so I can't work with it. I could move them manually, but sometimes I work with 30 layers (30 reports) at once.
Is there a way to hide them? Even if it's all of them. I can always switch to reports tab if needed. |

Hi,
You mean the tables with the fit parameters that are placed automatically on the graph when the data is fitted, correct?
I see you posted originally in the LabTalk forum asking for script to create a separate graph for each of your data columns:

I posted a solution there on how to change the script to create a new graph page for each column, which is what you want?

Hi,
If you would be willing to email your script to tech@originlab.com (if you do could you include a link to this forum topic as a reference), we can hopefully figure out what is causing the report sheets to be attached to just one layer. Alternatively, if this is being caused by a bug, that would give us a chance to identify it.
If not then the best workaround is probably just to not graph the report sheets, and instead use the reports tab in the associated workbook.

Hi Matthew,
I used a script to create graph layers and gaussian fits for an XYYY-type worksheet. If the report sheets should hide with their layer, I guess they were created in the same layer somehow. |

Hi Clairekun,
I am not sure I completely understand your situation. If you are saying you have 30 layers, and each layer has a dataset with a fit, and a report sheet is also on each layer, than the report sheet should hide when you hide the layer. Maybe you could tell me how you created the fits; do you have one fit which you applied to all your layers? Does each layer have a completely different fit?
Also, if you simply want to hide all of the reports but none of the graphs, than the easiest solution would be to not create report sheets on the graphs, and to instead just use the reports tab as you suggested. When you are in the process of creating your fit, you can go to the Output Settings and just uncheck “Paste Result Tables to Source Graph” and the report sheets won’t be created on the graph.
