It' known that the power spectral density of a set of discrete signal can be calculated using Origin by click the 'Analysis'¡ú'FFT', and one of the Output options is 'Normalize Amplitude'.
My question is£ºhow is the amplitude be normalized£¿Is it normalized by the sum of the squares of the window function£¿
Thanks.

Thanks, I will try it.

Clicking on the link won't work, you will need to copy the entirety of the link, from http... to ...html and paste it into your browser.

The forum doesn't recognize the parentheses as being part of the link when they are. That's why it's not working.

Hi,

Please refer to the algorithm of FFT in our online help file, which illustrates how the normalized amplitude in dB is calculated.
