Hi everybody. I want to plot some data with a B-spline line. There are several lines. To avoid confusion, I plotted each with a different dashed line. The problem came when I changed the width of the line. If the line is wider than 1 point, the plot changes automatically to straight line (instead of dashed).
żIs there any solution for this?
Thanks in advance. |

Posted - 04/20/2013 : 12:30:41 PM Hi,
Thank you all, I guess I solved the problem, Johannes gave me a clue. The dashed lines are not shown in the plotting window of OriginPro, but when copied and pasted in "Paint", or another program, I could see them then.
Kind regards! |

did you try and export your graph?
Maybe the dashed lines are just not shown in 'page view', because in the origin options on the 'graph' tab the checkbox 'Use dashed lines in page view' (or similar, translated from german GUI) is not checked.
Hold on a second, I just noticed your sentence with 'wider than 1 pt', so I think my guess might be wrong. Can't check right now, as I got no Origin at home...

This worked fine for me regardless of line width. Would you mind sending your files to tech@originlab.com so we can see the problem firsthand.
