Origin Ver. 9.0.0 and Service Release b45 (Select Help-->About Origin):
Operating System:Windows 7(32 bit)

Hi,

I recently upgraded from 8.5.1 to 9.0.0. I am facing problem with accessing the Richt click-> Axis option when you are on a graph. I plotted 3 layers with each layer having its own plot. After this I deleted the Y-axis lines(lets say of layer 2 and 3) from the graph. Now when I, lets say, go to layer 2(or 3) and right click to access the Axis option it does not lets me click on it or this option is greyed out from list of right click pop out ribbon.

Please help.

Thanks and Regards,
Anchal

Hi Snowli,

Thank you for taking note of this. As of now I have gone back to 8.5.1. Hope sooner the 9.0 would be free of all these bugs.

Thanks and Regards,
Anchal

Hello,

Sorry that this is missed in our testing and broken since 9.0.

Thank you for reporting this to us. I will fix it in future versions.
The jira number for the bug is ORG-8505

For now if the axis is hidden, you can only open Axis dialog from Format menu.

If the axis isn't hidden, you can right click on the axis or double click axis to open as before.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks, Snow Li

So basically when I am on layer 3 and Right click->Axis then i can change the range or do other things of Y-axis on layer 3. Similarly when I am on layer 2 and Right click->Axis then i can change the range or other options given by axis dialogue box for data set on layer 2 only.
