Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): OriginPro 8 SR0 V8.0724
Operating System:Windows XP
I have an excel with 271000 lines and 2 columns.I'm importing it into origin to draw a histogram and make peak fitting.Why does it only show 65536 lines in origin?

Hi,
This is a bug in version 8. If you open the command window (Windows > Command Window) and enter @XLP = 0; then it should fix the bug and allow you to import your entire dataset.

Hi Linda,
Would you please try the following steps?
1. Save your excel file as .xlsx format.
2. Select File: Import: Excel (XLS, XLSX)...
3. In the opened dialog, change the Files of type to "Excel Workbook(*xlsx) to display the .xlsx files.
4. You can customize the settings in the impExcel dialog as you need and click OK.
