Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 9.0
Operating System: 64 bit

I am new with using Origin. I was graphing data in Excel and adding trend lines to data. Could someone help me with how to do this in Origin? Typically I have been fitting my data using log or power.

Thanks,
Jennifer

Hi Kevinalvin,

Try to create a user-defined function and then use it to do fitting.

Learn how to Create User-Defined Fitting Function in Origin.

Hi jennifernielsen,

Are you going to fit your data? Origin offers built-in Logarithm and power function.

About how to do nonlinear curve fitting in Origin, please refer to this tutorial and this video.
