The equation is:

where: y-provided in second column above, D-unknown value-trying to find it, L-constant, t-time.
However, when I try to use the code it doesn't work and I also tried to follow the previous post (http://www.originlab.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=4761)without success so I would really appreciate your help.

y=1-sum(from n=0 to infinity){8/[(2n+1)^2*pi^2]} x exp{[(2n+1)^2*pi^2*D*t]/4*L^2}

We have a tutorial to show you how to define this kind of function and use it to fit your data in Origin.

Fitting with Summation

Please try to follow this tutorial.

Besides, please upgrade your Origin 8.0 SR0 to Origin 8.0 SR6.
