Hi I want to extrapolate selected section so that it intersects x axis, can anyone help?

Set you graph's Y From to zero then use the Data Selector tool to mark your region and run Analysis : Mathematics : Interpolate/Extrapolate.
Turn on Auto Preview, Uncheck X Minimum Auto and change your X Minimum values until you get an X axis intercept.

Thanks, but i'm using version 8 which does not include gadget menu.
could you please give step-by-step instructions?

Hi,

You can open Interpolate gadget, set the "Fit Limit To" option in Inter../Extrapolate Options tab
to "Inter.../Extrapolate to Full Axis Edge", then move and resize the yellow ROI box so that it
contains the data points you want to contain. See the screenshot below:
