Hi all,
I'm starting using Origin software to fit data ( usually Non Linear Curve Fit using User-defined functions).
I have a very simple "problem" :
when I try to change fit parameters in order to recalculate, in the parameters menu all the parameters are setted as integer values, altough I have setted before as decimal values.
Why?
How can I do to set the precision of the fit parameters?
Thanks in advance.

I have checked Origin 8 near me, I could see the triangle button, and its "Save as <Default>" flyout. See below:

Posted - 09/12/2013 : 10:03:49 AM Probably my Origin version is different from yours, since the windows I see is a bit different.
Anyway, I increased the number of significant digits, but everytime I refit I find :
51,000 instead of 51,500.

I guess that the settings of this Significant Digits have been modified, and set as default. As Gosia suggested, change this setting as you like, then, press the small triangle button at the top right corner, and select "Set as <Default>" flyout. Your desired setting should appear every time.
Hope this is the case.

I've already tried in this way, but everytime I want to redo the fit, I find again parameter values as integer.

Posted - 09/10/2013 : 09:37:09 AM Hi, go to the parameters tab at the NLFit window, right-click on the bar with column names and check the "significant digits" option. After that you should have a possibility to set the number of digits displayed (up to 15). Hope this helps, Gosia
