Origin Ver. and Service Release (Select Help-->About Origin): 8.6
Operating System: Windows 7

I'm trying to customize the symbols used for single data points in a 3D scatter plot. When I hold Ctrl and double click on the point,a separate node should be created that I can then customize. But this isn't happening. I can only customize all the points on the graph at once, not just the one I want. Can anyone help? Thank you.

You can still use Shape, Color and Size Indexing in 3D Scatter.

Just add columns as needed and fill with index numbers based on the lists shown for Shape and Individual Color. For Size, the values are in Points.

Hello,

This is not supported before Origin 9.0.

Thanks, Snow Li
