I experienced this problem after a system freeze while I was using another program (engauge digitizer,http://digitizer.sourceforge.net/) and I had to force shutdown (origin was running in the background).
I tried to reinstall the program, but the problem persisted. I also tried an older version (OriginPro 7.5): this time plots are displayed correctly.
How can I solve the problem? Thank you in advance.

Could you check Help: About Origin and see if there is remaining time showing? If it's negative value maybe Origin has expired?
You could license Origin again and see if it still happens?
